Individual sessions

A space for your own story.

Sustained individual sessions, in-person or online. A humanistic clinical frame to look at yourself without judgment and walk at your own pace.

For what moments

When it makes sense to begin.

There isn't a single legitimate reason to begin therapy. Some women arrive in the middle of grief, a breakup, or a vital decision. Others arrive with an exhaustion that has no name, a sense of not recognizing themselves, a question they can't quite formulate. All of those are valid reasons to begin.

Individual sessions are the most sustained clinical format: one-to-one, no audience, with real time for your own step to find its rhythm. It's the space where no one has to understand what you're saying before you do.

If you still aren't sure whether this is the right time or the right space, the first session is designed precisely for that doubt. It isn't therapy yet; it's the conversation that decides whether therapy makes sense.

There isn't a story too small to be heard. There's a social urgency to minimize it — and clinical work to give it back its real size.

What we often work on

Some recurring territories.

It isn't a closed list. It's a map of the themes that show up most often in session — so you can recognize whether your reason fits this space.

✦

Identity and purpose

Returning to who you are beyond your roles. Recognizing what's asking to be lived and what's asking to be released.

✦

Childhood wounds

Looking at your history with clinical compassion. Recognizing the patterns that repeat and beginning to write others.

✦

Relationships and bonds

Couples, family, significant relationships. What hurts in a bond is almost always information about your own story.

✦

Grief and transitions

Losses, breakups, vital relocations. Accompanying the passage without skipping it and without staying stuck in it.

What a session is like

What you'll find in session.

Each session lasts one hour. The initial frequency is usually weekly or biweekly — agreed with you according to what brings you here and the moment you're in — and adjusts throughout the process.

The space can be in-person in Barranquilla or via video call. In both cases the frame is the same: clinical confidentiality, professional ethics, and commitment to your process.

The first session doesn't go into deep work yet. We listen to what brings you here, build the frame, and decide together whether this is the right place. If it isn't, I'll point you toward a professional who can accompany you better.

My clinical commitment is to you, not to the rushed version of you.
