Childhood Wounds Cartography

Looking at your wounds is not reopening them. It is beginning to care for them.

Seven questions to walk, at your own pace, through the moments of your childhood where something hurt, and to recognize how you protect yourself today. As you answer, your map draws itself.

01

What it is

A cartography is a map. Here you don't draw streets or cities: you draw moments, emotions and people that left a mark on you as a child.

02

What it's for

To bring order to what sometimes feels like a knot. Seeing your story as a map helps you understand where some of today's reactions come from.

03

What you may discover

Which experiences still ask for attention, which emotions repeat, who was there, and what the child you were needs today.

The walk

One question per screen, no rush.

Answer calmly and without judging yourself. There are no right answers: only what you can name today.

  1. Questions 01 to 05

    Remembering

Five moments of your childhood: when someone wasn't there, when you didn't feel accepted, shame, broken trust and what was unfair. For each one you choose your age, what you felt and who was there.

  2. Questions 06 and 07

    Towards healing

How you protect yourself today from feeling that again, and what the child you were needs from you.

  3. At the end

    Your cartography

A map made only from your answers, to keep on this device or bring to a session if you'd like to work on it with me.

Who walks with you

“I wrote these questions so you can begin to look at your story with tenderness. If something stirs along the way, you don't have to hold it alone.”

What you write is yours

Your answers are saved only in this browser, so you can pause and come back. They aren't sent to any server, nobody sees them and they're never used for advertising.

We don't ask for your email or contact details, and in the questions about people you choose a bond (mother, father, a friend), never a name. You can delete your cartography at any time with the “Delete my cartography” button. If you use a shared device, delete it when you finish.

This cartography is a tool for reflection and self-knowledge. It isn't a test, it gives no diagnosis and it doesn't replace an assessment or a therapeutic process.
